Just for my mum

Although my lovely mum doesn't actually own a computer or in fact really know how to use her mobile phone, this blog is for her. She loves letters and she loves photos.
Now whilst the letter bit is a bit complicated I can certainly do the photos. I think I'll insist my brother (lovely Roger) print off some copies for her. So here goes ...
Mishy and her gorgeous pearls

Cool and sophisticated Mishy
Today is a day off for Mishy. I got sick last week, and was exhiled from my current work place. I have been in insolation from all the lovely teenagers and instead looking after cute little screaming babies. The toddlers are the most fun. They run up and down the corridor and are super fun to watch playing. You can see below what work is really like for Mishy ...
There are often moments when I am talking to people about my job... And here are some of the familiar statements
"Oh... wow I could never do what you do."
"That must be a really hard job."
"That is a really sad job, how do you do it?"
I have decided to set the record straight. It is neither an easy job nor a hard job. It is just a job with challenges like every other. The funniest are when little boys pee all over me. The saddest are when we can't make the kids better. The happiest are when my kids bring me pink presents (or chocolates). One of my favourite stories was of a little girl who was excited to see me, so she could show her vibrant pink wig. (she had no hair left). It was the most delightful day to see such a vision of pink.
But, best of all is the glory of the singing + dancing lobster. I tell all the kids to press the red button. Plus, we have singing red roses and a dancing monkey. Now, whose workplace can boast such excitement?
