Random Delights

Holly: Sorry to hear your hamster died Bob... Bob: Window cleaners for British rail should watch out for flying man-eating deckchairs today, swimming in from the south along with the flea-ridden coathangers. The muffin man is responsible for the sudden outburst of rain yesterday as he forgot to pay the rent on his blue strawberries. I'm sorry, did you say you wanted a biscuit? Holly: Random! Custard cream please.

Glorius days of Spring

Easter Friday is always a good day. Not having to work was fabulous, but then more glory .... SUNSHINE. The blossoms are out, people are playing in the fields and it is glorious indeed.

The day started by my nearly jumping out of my skin, after answering the knock on my bedroom door... I didn't realise that our cleaner was coming today, but indeed she did. And, whilst politely informing me that cleaning time it was, I got all out of sorts. It's a strange way to start the day by being greeted by a stranger at your bedroom door. No matter!

A lunch of bread and jam in a sunny garden soon filled me with joy. You can see how delightful the day was...
Me and Jo got up to shenanigans. We laughed, we danced, we laughed some more. After munching on some late afternoon snacks, we soon discovered the joy of Ipod music and portable speakers. One great song and some "M-bopping later" ... it ended up a bit like this ...

I mean clearly it was always going to be a 2 man disco ...

I think there is nothing more glorious than beautiful sunshine spent with a beautiful friend. Laughing on buses and stumbling down ditches, makes this grey old city so much more glorious.
