Random Delights

Holly: Sorry to hear your hamster died Bob... Bob: Window cleaners for British rail should watch out for flying man-eating deckchairs today, swimming in from the south along with the flea-ridden coathangers. The muffin man is responsible for the sudden outburst of rain yesterday as he forgot to pay the rent on his blue strawberries. I'm sorry, did you say you wanted a biscuit? Holly: Random! Custard cream please.

Life happens

I remember chatting with a friend at the start of June, that I did not want to wish away June. As I was going to be out of the country for a month, I wanted to make sure that I enjoyed June before plunging head-long into my holidays.

Well, I certainly tried to capture June.... but life has a way of just happening. So I find myself pensively musing my June and July and nearly my August. I had so many glorius encounters whilst on holiday, and truly I think a photo does speak a thousand words. So, whilst I could continue to wax lyrical about my 'summer' I think this is a much better idea...

There is something about the unconditional love of a family, that when it works, really works. I got all loved-up and reminded that our whole life is made up of fragrant moments of human interaction. That incorporates the human fraility and frustration that causes us our greatest tears, but also our greatest joy. What joy it was to be with those who love me regardless...

And that I think is simply all that needs to be said.
