It all started just before my birthday... My precious Amy confessed that she posted my birthday parcel into the mail too late to arrive in time. No matter, I assured her. It's my birthday month.
Thanks to the stupendously organised and detailed Royal Mail, and a postal strike, it turned into my birthday sadness.... Would this peskily parcel ever arrive. Breathlessly, I would open my front door, searching, seeking, out the red slip saying 'You have mail'. Yet it never came.
Each day I listened, racing to the door at a moments notice in case the door bell wasn't working. Was that a man in a red jacket? Did I hear the door-bell?
Did a bunch of gnomes resort to knee-capping my trusty Royal Mail representative and scarpered with the goods. Did the plane go down in the ocean, and like Tom Hanks character in that silly movie, had the only survivor created a new 'Wilson'. Was this a test of endurance?
Suddenly, like a clear sky after rain, like a chirping bird at dawn, like well sod it ... like a miracle ...

A great big parcel of pink. That's right folks pink. All delightfully wrapped in co-ordinating paper and ribbon. That is thoughtful that is... matching wrapping.

A sign of good friend, who always supplies your needs ... And let's face it, we all need a wand.

And we all need beautiful serviettes, and not just any ones, but ones with BUTTERFLIES. They are like my favourite serviettes ever.

And then the candles to match ...

But, wait there's more ...

And then a little bit more ...

And just when you thought it was too much glory and wonder ...

But, no birthday is complete without...

Yes folks, 4 leaf clover - cookie cutter. It just doesn't get better than that... Or does it?

Australian money magnets... Now I will never be short of cash. And lastly ...

Seeds for my garden, and a hand-written card. And just a one-liner. She wrote a whole paragraph. It was worth the wait Ams. It was worth the wait.

Halleluiah! The prodigal present arrives home finally!
So glad it was worth the wait :-)
I have to say there is 1 present in there that fully has the potential to change your life and revolutionise everything. Can you guess which one it is?
Yes, that's right, it's the 4 leaf clover cookie cutter - did you ever imagine such glory? ;-)
