Chocolatety, bombtastic Autumnal Delights

I started the day, waking to bright shiny day. The sun was glorious, and the day was just magnificent. I was walking along the street and discovered the leaves of glory.

Just when I didn't think my little heart, could take much more, I had a phone call from my lovely friend Kev and Mel. And, it was decided in an instant, that we would meet for lunch. Now, bear in mind that I have been a bit of hermit the last 2 weeks.... working on an assignment, and having flatmates who worked crazy hours or were out of the country. So, I got a little bit weird, and anti-social. It was fabulous to join the land of socialising again. I met Kev and Mel and we wandered around, having a lovely time together...

So lovely, that we traipsed the city streets and required a rush of sugar... the kind that sustains you for at least an hour.

I don't think a day gets any better than that
