Random Delights

Holly: Sorry to hear your hamster died Bob... Bob: Window cleaners for British rail should watch out for flying man-eating deckchairs today, swimming in from the south along with the flea-ridden coathangers. The muffin man is responsible for the sudden outburst of rain yesterday as he forgot to pay the rent on his blue strawberries. I'm sorry, did you say you wanted a biscuit? Holly: Random! Custard cream please.

When I was a little kid .....

Actually, this blog is more about capturing the memories of cold, wintery, crisp days, sometimes sunny and sometimes not. I think I decided to title this blog about being a kid, because back then I just loved the summer. I loved long, hot blisteringly hot days. Now, perhaps due to central heating I loooooove the winter. I love the sunny days we have been having in London. Cold and frosty to start and then sunny sunshine.

Jo and I discovered the most delightful park the other day... and it was just too wonderful. There was Jo (the new guest star in my movie) doing a stellar job of her guest role. Perhaps the pictures will help describe the joy.

The birds were singing, the sun was shining and I was on holidays. There is something most relaxing about knowing that I can sleep late, enjoy the companionship of friends and go outside for frolicking.

Actually.... that would be JoBee. She has an exceptionally smart camera, (canon) that has an 'accent' setting, that allows you to capture just one colour. I sadly don't have it on my camera, but will be upgrading to it as soon as possible and handing my camera onto my olds.
